I started sailing at the age of 8. After progressing through Optis and Lasers I focused in multihulls. After much success in the youth multihull circuits I moved on to College Sailing at Boston University. After earning my degree in Mechanical Engineering with an Aerospace concentration I began a full time Olympic Campaign in the Nacra 17 with Caroline Atwood.

Michael is a former Internatiinoal Canoe World Champion and recently placed 10th in the International 14 Worlds Championship. His goal is to compete in the upcoming A Class World Championship in St Pete Florida.

Aidan started sailing at age 6 and never looked back, moving from sabots to optis, then into the i420 and 29er class. At 16 aidan joined the I-14 class, and currently enjoys offshore sailing, high performance cats, skiffs, and kite foils.

Sam is a recent Alumnus the George Washington University Sailing Team. He grew up sailing in Boston on the Charles River, moved on to junior and High School sailing in Marblehead. He coached at Balboa Yacht Club and San Francisco Yacht club while at GW, where he focused on team racing. He has since begun to shift focus to keelboats for an Etchells campaign with the US Etchells Youth Team.

Sean grew up racing Optimists, c420s and small keelboats on Long Island Sound out of Centerport, NY. He competed in college sailing at the University of South Florida as a skipper and team captain. Sean looks forward to racing more Etchells events as a returning member to the USEYT while attending law school in Saint Petersburg, FL.

Lars grew up sailing on Lake Michigan in the Lightning, Laser, and Flying Scot. He then moved to Florida where he continued racing in all of those classes, sailed at Riverview High School, and joined the Sarasota High performance Catamaran Team. He is currently US Etchells Youth Team Captain and most recently won the Lightning Junior North American Championships and Etchells Nationals (Corinthian)

David grew up sailing in San Diego in the naples sabot, moving on to FJs and keelboats/match racing in high school. He switched coasts to attend MIT for college, where he sailed for 4 years, as a starting skipper for 3, skippered the keelboat team, and was captain his junior and senior years. He is now a graduate student at MIT in mechanical engineering and naval architecture, where he is active in the Marblehead Etchells and IOD fleets, and Corinthian Yacht Club’s racing team, MIT Bluewater and team racing programs and continues to match race with college teammates.
