From September 5–12, 2026, I competed at the ILCA 6 World Championship in Dún Laoghaire, Ireland. The championship was dominated by strong winds, with gusts reaching up to 26 knots on some days and only two races sailed in lighter conditions.

After two days of qualifying, a few mistakes on the water unfortunately cost me a place in the Gold Fleet. Nevertheless, I kept fighting in the Silver Fleet and used every race as valuable preparation for the first Olympic qualification event, which is quickly approaching in Brazil in January 2027.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to compete alongside some of the strongest sailors in the world, including Charlotte Rose from the USA, who won this World Championship. Racing at this level is an invaluable part of my journey towards the Olympic Games.
